Foreign Service Security Engineering Officer

Dwindle Patrick is currently a Foreign Service Security Engineering Officer (SEO) in the Emerging Technology division. He is the Chief of the newly established Evaluation Technologies & Consulting Branch where he oversees hardware evaluations and assessments.
Dwindle served previously as the Chief in the Information Assurance Branch; the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Engineering Services Office (ESO) at U.S. Embassy Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire; the Regional Cybersecurity Officer (RCSO) of the Engineering Services Center at U.S. Embassy Montevideo, Uruguay; the Branch Chief of the Regional Cybersecurity Officer program; the Deputy Chief of the Security Engineering Services office’s technical support for U.S. Secretary of State; the OIC of the ESO at U.S. Embassy Tbilisi, Georgia; an SEO at U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt, Germany; an SEO in the Countermeasures Program division, and an SEO Training Coordinator/Instructor at the Diplomatic Security Training Center.
Dwindle earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998. Before joining the Foreign Service in 1999, Dwindle worked as the Office Clerk for the SECME, Inc. regional office in Atlanta, Georgia. He enjoys tutoring, motivating, and inspiring kids under the youth ministry at the community church.
