The purpose of Flight Simulation is to generate interests in the fields of avionics aeronautics and aviation. Students gain an understanding of the skills involved in flight, not just from the piloting standpoint but the engineering and physics behind
flying. Students are engaged in hands-on and conceptual perspectives by working with mentors and trainers who instruct and inspire them to explore a variety of opportunities in these fields
COMPETITION:
Ten teams of three students will be required to present a 1-page research paper on a career in the aerospace industry, produce a poster board display on their findings, develop a website and a brochure, and provide an oral presentation before a panel of aerospace industry professionals.
There will be two workshops to prepare the students on how to fly the aircraft on a simulator.
A component of the competition will consist of each team being tested on their knowledge on flying an aircraft in our flight simulator.

1st Place Winner – $100 Gift Card
2nd Place Winner – $50 Gift Card
3rd Place Winner – $25 Gift Card
