Solar System Competition

We would like to invite your school to join us for the PATRIOTS SOLAR SYSTEM COMPETITION. 

This competition creates interest in the solar system from a hands-on perspective for middle and high school students.   

COMPETITION 

Students will research Mars to determine if it is suitable for human exploration.  The research requires that a team of three students will provide a maximum of a 2-page research paper, a poster board display; develop a website and a brochure and provide an oral presentation before a panel of astronomy professionals.   

PRIZES: 

• 1st Place – $100 Gift Card 
• 2nd Place – $50 Gift Card 
• 3rd Place – $25 Gift Card 

ADMISSION FEE: $10/person (includes dinner)

SOLAR SYSTEM COMPETITION FEES:  

Maximum of 10 Teams per Competition (3 students per team) 

Members: Free 
Non-Members: $30/per team of three
