Connecting Students to the Future of Aerospace
The Patriots Aerospace/Aviation Summit brings together government, aerospace industry professionals, and students for an exciting one-day experience designed to expose middle and high school students to the many career opportunities available in aerospace and aviation.
Hosted at Joint Base Andrews, the Summit will feature more than 20 aerospace exhibits, opportunities to meet aerospace professionals, explore STEM careers, and participate in exciting hands-on competitions.

PRIZES
1st Place: $100 Gift Card for each team member
2nd Place: $50 Gift Card for each team member
3rd Place: $25 Gift Card for each team member
ADMISSION
Patriots/NSBE Jr. Members: $10 — Lunch included
Non-Members: $20 per person
Adults: $10
COMPETITION FEES
A maximum of 10 teams per competition will be accepted.
Each team consists of three students.
Patriots/NSBE Jr. Members: FREE
Non-Members: $30 per team of three
COMPETITION HIGHLIGHTS
Teams will consist of three middle or high school students. As part of the competition experience, teams will conduct research and prepare materials that demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and understanding of aerospace-related careers and concepts.
Competition requirements may include:
- A research paper of no more than three pages
- A student-created brochure
- A web page
- A poster board research display
- A 5-minute presentation before a panel of aerospace industry judges
