Cyber Security Competition 2023

We would like to invite your school to join us for the PATRIOTS CYBER SECURITY COMPETITION at Bowie State University.

The purpose of the Cyber Security Competition is to assist in the exploration of science and technology through research and interactive learning. The importance of understanding the various careers in Cyber Security is to gain global knowledge of the vital role of its future needs for our continued survival. This STEM career field will significantly impact the intelligence of our community by educating students about the importance of protecting their computer networks.

COMPETITION
Teams of three students will be required to present a research paper on a Cyber Security career, produce a poster board display of their findings, develop a website, a brochure, and provide an oral presentation before a panel of Cyber Security professionals.

PRIZES:
1st Place Winner – $100 Gift Card
2nd Place Winner – $50 Gift Card
3rd Place Winner – $25 Gift Card

CYBER SECURITY COMPETITION FEES:
Maximum of 10 Teams per Competition (3 students per team)
Members: Free
Non-Members: $30/per team of three

IMPORTANT: Attendees and Competitors MUST be registered separately. Competition requires 3 player names to be entered on registration.
